WEBSITE RE:DESIGN
At The Moment is a popular US-based clothing start-up known for its uniquely creative prints. During my apprenticeship at General Assembly, I selected At The Moment as a case study project due to my admiration for their clothing designs, despite noticing significant issues with their website's user interface. Working independently on this project, I handled participant recruitment, managed all research efforts, and single-handedly designed the UX/UI.
User and market research indicated a pressing need to enhance At The Moment's navigation and filtering features to align with industry standards, reduce user frustration, and boost sales. Furthermore, improvements were made to the content structure, visuals, copywriting, and other elements across the landing page, product listings, and product pages. The redesigned interface effectively showcases the creative start-up's unique designs and collections, significantly enhancing the brand's overall image. View Case Study

CoNote
WEBSITE RE:DESIGN
CoNote is a US-based tech startup providing an innovative AI-driven qualitative user research tool. In early to mid-2023, CoNote sought to revamp its website's landing page, which was still in its early stages. As the Lead UX Researcher, my team and I identified a critical issue: first-time visitors struggled to understand what CoNote offered, how it differentiated itself from competitors, and its safety measures. Additionally, they had difficulty discovering the company's values and vision. We determined that a redesign was essential, focusing on improved navigation and concise, expandable information capsules to quickly highlight CoNote’s key features, safety protocols, and company ethos.
Drawing from our research insights, our design team developed a high-fidelity prototype featuring robust information architecture, UX writing, and interactive design to enhance user satisfaction. The new design effectively addresses user safety concerns by providing pertinent information on the company's safety standards, thereby establishing trust and credibility with potential users. SelAct
MOBILE APP DESIGN
Gymondo is a global fitness and health company that provides content and coaching services to over 200,000 international customers through its app and web platforms. In late 2023, Gymondo's Product Team embarked on enhancing its fitness and health services by introducing a novel feature: enabling customers to upload, document, and compare their fitness progress photos. As the sole UX Researcher, I led testing and collaborated with a small team to refine the feature before launch.
Alongside Gymondo’s acclaimed fitness, mindfulness, and nutrition content, the progress-tracking section is a key USP, heavily used by customers and vital for retention. The feature was set to launch alongside a 10-week fitness and nutrition challenge, enhancing the overall customer experience and boosting completion rates. SelAct, though conceptualized and not yet realized, emerged as a promising idea during my apprenticeship at General Assembly. Tasked with developing a mobile app from inception, I undertook a comprehensive process encompassing concept development, market research, UX/UI design, and product testing.
SelAct aims to simplify community activism and foster engagement by offering users a straightforward platform to access information, discover opportunities, and take action. Recognizing the perceived complexities and barriers associated with community activism, SelAct strives to lower entry barriers. Through SelAct, users can easily stay informed, engage meaningfully, and effect positive change within their local communities, aspiring to make a significant global impact. View Case Study
